Miss Rochelle Davis joined the staff of the Norman Manley Law School in November 2017. She was awarded an Upper Second Class Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Studies and a Master of Library and Information Studies from The University of the West Indies, Mona in 2006 and 2008 respectively.
Miss Davis has (9) years professional experience in Librarianship, with her earliest experience as a Serials Librarian at the National Library of Jamaica. She then went on to work as a Librarian at DunnCox Attorneys-at-Law, where the passion for Law Librarianship was born. She also worked as a Librarian at The University of the West Indies, Mona, first as a Cataloguer and then as a Librarian in the Law Branch Library. She is a proud and active member of LINAJ (Legal Information Association of Jamaica).
Miss Davis endeavours to add to the research output of librarians through presentations at conferences and also her two (2) published peer-reviewed articles: Negotiating Electronic Licensing Agreements: Issues, Knowledge and Skills Requirements for Librarians in Law Firms and “Bringing the library to you!”: The halls of residence librarian program at the University of the West Indies, Mona Library.
