Miss Lisa Gaye Vernon is a graduate of The University of The West Indies Mona Campus and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Library and Information Studies. Lisa Gaye also has a Diploma in Paralegal Advance Training from The Caribbean Legal Practice Institute. 

Miss Vernon has (17) years practical experience in the area of Library and Information Studies and has worked at Jamaica Library Service (2002-2008) as a Librarian before joining the Norman Manley Law School family (2008-present). Since her employment at NMLS Library Lisa Gaye worked as a Library Assistant III (Circulation Desk Supervisor) for a number of years before moving into the position of Assistant Librarian.
