Two references should be submitted in support of your application. The Regulations require that a referee must be one of the following:
- A judge of superior Court; or
- An Attorney-At-Law of at least seven years’ experience; or
- A Magistrate with a minimum of three years’ experience: or
- A Principal of an Educational Institution; or
- A Medical Doctor who has been registered to practice for at least seven years
- UWI candidates who are interested in the Two-Year Programme should apply by January 31 each year, with the expectation of completing the LL.B Degree programme in July or August.
- Candidates who have an interest in the Entrance Examination should apply by January 31 each year, with the expectation of completing the undergraduate degree in law programme in July of that year.

All programmes at the school are full-time (face-to-face) programmes.
No. In order to be eligible for consideration, candidates must have obtained an undergraduate degree in law from a reputable institution.
a) The Admissions Board Entrance Examination Application Form completed and signed by the applicant;
b) one recent passport-sized picture;
c) the application fee of U S$150.00; and
d) the original transcript for a first degree in law directly from the awarding institution.
Between November 1 and January 31 for admission in the following academic year. There is usually an advertisement posted on the website and in some regional newspapers in early November. It would be advisable to read this document before making the application.

Law library staff members are not attorneys and cannot answer specific questions regarding how your situation relates to the law or how your question can best be resolved. However, the law library provides users access to a variety of legal information resources to assist with your queries and useful research tips to better help you to use the resources effectively.
The Library is open to all registered students of the Law School, alumni, members of the academic and administrative staff of the Council of Legal Education, attorneys and such other persons who may, at the discretion of the Librarian, be granted permission to use it.

Provide the information on the title to a library staff at the Circulation Desk. You will be prompted to complete a loan slip depending on the loan duration of the item requested:
Yellow Form – Overnight
Green Form - Reading Room
White Form – Week Loan
Overnight Loans: $100.00 for the 1st day and $200.00 for each day thereafter
Weekly Loans: $40.00 per day
If a student owes more than $500.00 at any given time then he/she will not be allowed to borrow from the library.
Yes we do offer database training to staff and students at the beginning of the school year
Our subscription-based databases can only be used by current students and staff of the law school.
We provide access to LexisNexis, Westlaw, JustisOne, HeinOnline and Congressional Digest
You can have access to our WiFi by asking one of the library staff for assistance.
Bags/handbags are not allowed in the library. Students can rent a locker from the registry
