of Legal Education, persons are required to hold the Legal Education Certificate (LEC)
The Council of Legal Education (Caribbean) offers a two-year, full-time programme and a six-month course of training leading to the award of the Legal Education Certificate.

The West Indian Law Journal (WILJ)is a flagship product of the Council of Legal Education. The first publication of the WILJ was in 1977 and for over four decades, articles written by eminent jurists, senior legal professionals and respected academics have been published in the WILJ.
It is designed to have a wide appeal to those interested in the law such as legal practitioners, students and researchers and provides an opportunity for persons to keep abreast of developments in the law and progress in legal reform.
The Library provides services and resources to support current and practical Legal education.
