A letter outlining the decision will be sent to the applicant within ten business days. (ii) Repeat Students Pursuant to Regulation 7(5A) students required to repeat a year may make an application for an exemption from a subject as set out pursuant to this Regulation, by submitting a signed letter addressed to the Principal. This should be received no later than the end of September of each academic year. No applications for exemption will be accepted after that period. The Principal will assess the supporting documents, in consultation with the Senior Tutor and the Course Director or the Director of the Legal Aid Clinic, in order to determine whether an exemption should be granted. A letter outlining the decision will be sent to the applicant within ten business days, provided that all supporting documents have been submitted to the School or with the application for the exemption. (iii) Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Course Students who have successfully completed an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution course and have obtained at least a “B” grade may apply to the Office of the Senior Tutor for an exemption. You will be required to submit, with your application for exemption, a certified copy of your transcript or a certificate evidencing satisfactory completion of the course, with not less than a “B” grade. 7. LECTURES, TUTORIALS AND SEMINARS Lectures, tutorials and seminars are held weekly. Students are expected to fully prepare for and participate in the classes. All classes delivered online will be offered on the Microsoft Office 365 for Education which includes Microsoft Teams. 8.
