Only requests which have been signed by a current student/alumni will be considered as providing authorization for the release of information. Transcripts are not available for Year I students until examination grades have been released. Further information in relation to service charges, processing timelines and dispatch/pick-up etc., may be found in the Document Services Guidelines, a copy of which may be found on the School’s website under Downloads as a PDF file entitled Document Services Guidelines or on the MSTeams platform in The Office of the Registrar / Student Affairs / Files / Document Services . Students/Alumni may also email nmlsdocumentservices@uwimona.edu.jm f or further assistance. 18. USE OF THE U.W.I. MAIN LIBRARY AND SUPREME COURT LIBRARY In addition to the use of the Law School’s library, students of the School are permitted to use the facilities of the Main Library of the U.W.I. and the Supreme Court Library, subject to the rules and regulations of those libraries. Your I.D. must be presented before you are allowed to use these libraries. 19. IDENTIFICATION (I.D.) CARDS All students are required to have a Norman Manley Law School photograph I.D. card. A photographing session will take place shortly after the commencement of the academic year. The contact person for matters relating to I.D. cards is the Registrar’s Secretary. 20. TELEPHONE CALLS Students may be permitted use of the school’s telephone, in an emergency only. As students are not always easily located, urgent incoming messages received by the School for students will be noted and passed to the student, or posted on the Notice Board.
